Marie de Saint Germain is a self-taught French visual artist.

Her deeply dreamlike and symbolic work explores the labyrinths of identity, the tensions of the mind, and the blurred zones of memory. Through a mixed-media practice combining paper, acrylic paint and ink, she creates unsettling images that dwell on the edge of dream and wakefulness.

Her visual world, inhabited by fragmented figures, suspended gazes, and bodies in metamorphosis, delves into the invisible, the buried, and what endures despite the fracture.

Between appearance and disappearance, her work opens a space of visceral poetry, where the visible trembles and the intimate engages with the strange.
